Normally, when we think of the majesty of nature, our thoughts take us to places like Yellow Stone Park or the Grand Canyon. All too often we over look that which surrounds us everyday. Flowers, butterflies, insects and even weeds have their own special beauty. Sometimes we just need to slow down and take a longer, closer look. The portfolios here show Nature in it's simplest form. Sights we pass by ever day but don't really SEE, simple and pure, the way nature presented them.

Fly: a small creature; Seen much too often. A common creature of reality. Seeing one you would probably attack it.

To some Dragonfly would seem to be a contradictory word.
I rather see it as a balanced one.

A Dragonfly is a small creature, yet a large one as far as flying insects are concerned. Often seen around water but rarely seen elsewhere. It is of this reality but conjures up feelings of a fantasy realm. Seeing one people neither run nor attack.

Striking a balance between what is common and that which is fantastic. Nature seen the way a dragonfly might see it:
